About the Author and Illustrator

Lauren Levine lives in Exeter, NH with her three teenage children. She has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, a New Hampshire state teaching certificate for grades 7-12 in mathematics, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University. Lauren enjoys teaching eighth grade math at a private middle school. Lauren likes to be outdoors; her favorite activities are hiking, kayaking, bicycling, and skiing.

 

Eric Ebbeson received his degree in Studio Art from Dartmouth College, He has taught art at the Darrow School (New Lebanon, NY) and Hampton Academy (Hampton, NH) plus many community art classes. He lives in Hampton, NH, with his wife Suzanne, and exhibits his artwork in many venues throughout New England. He has illustrated “The Ambiguity of Autumn,” a book of poems by Jeff Volk, published by In’f’able Impressions and MACROmedia Publishing. He has always wanted to illustrate a children’s book and this is his first one. He would like to especially thank Shepherd Rost (age 2) for his consulting work on the illustrations. This is Shepherd’s first consulting job.
